Designing and creating an attractive Amazon Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) is a complex task that requires careful consideration and planning. With 17 available modules to choose from, and the option to assemble them in either a five or seven-module layout, it can be challenging for a new seller to know which modules to select.
Choosing the appropriate modules for an EBC requires a deep understanding of the seller’s target audience, product features, and brand messaging. Each module offers unique benefits, such as showcasing product details, highlighting product benefits and features, and incorporating lifestyle imagery.
We have created hundreds of EBCs in different categories and understand what works best for our clients. In this blog, we’ll tell you everything about each module. We will also provide the best layouts. However, you can assemble these modules differently if you want.

This module is perfect for the brand logo. The image space is small, and we do not recommend putting anything else in this module. Whether you opt for the five-module or seven-module layout, this will remain an essential part of your EBC.
What are the advantages of using an entire module for a logo? Your buyers are going to get a great look at your logo. It will help in building the brand identity. Using this module is necessary for delivering your brand message.
Above is one of the brand logo modules we designed for our client. It portrays the brand identity and messaging. It is overall a symbol of what the brand represents.
We do not recommend using the comparison module. Comparing or contrasting products often backfires as it may direct your buyers to other listings. You should not be advertising your competitor’s products. Any redirected traffic from your listing is a potential lost sale. Therefore, you should only use this module if your product is significantly better than the competitors.
The chart compares features, dimensions, and other benefits. It presents a basic review to potential buyers, helping them to make an informed decision.
If you want to use this module, we recommend putting this as the last module in the seven-module layout. It takes up a lot of space and should not be incorporated into the five-module EBC.
The four-feature module is one of the most popular ways to highlight product features. It is used in the five-module and seven-module layouts. Sellers can either use zoom shots of the product features or icons. It provides significant freedom to convey essential information.
We recommend including this module in your EBC unless your product has limited features. Home and kitchen products significantly benefit from this module.
This is an example of how we use four-feature modules to highlight product features for our clients.
The three-feature module is similar to the four-feature module. It is included in most Amazon EBCs. We highly recommend adding this module to your layout. You can either put zoom circles in the modules or icons.
What differentiates the three-feature module from the four-feature module? Sellers can write more text underneath each feature heading. Therefore, it helps sellers to include more text in the EBC. This module is a perfect option if your product requires a lengthy text explanation.
The standard single left image module contains an image, header, and paragraph. It is used to cover the general features of a product. The text entails marketing language intending to change the buying decision.
The purpose of this module is to use enticing language to summarize the product. Present your product as a solution, and do not just explain your product in this module. Use engaging language and cover all aspects of the product. There is significant space for text, meaning you can explain everything about your item.
We recommend adding this module to your EBC. It will give you a shot to convince your potential buyer through marketing language.
The single right image module is the same as the left image module. It serves the same purpose.
If your product has many features and benefits, you should put the right and left image modules in the seven-module layout (see the example below). It will provide space for two consecutive paragraphs, helping you to explain your product details.
The four-image quadrant module is outdated. Not many EBCs utilize this module. It is slightly similar to the four-feature module but has less space for text. We do not recommend including this module in your EBC.
Even though the 600 x 180 module is reserved for the brand logo, the 970 x 300 module can also be used for the brand logo alongside a small paragraph. Another way to utilize this module is to place it after the brand logo module. It has significant image space, allowing you to showcase your product.
We do not use this module with text. It is better to use it for visuals and feature icons. We do not recommend using this module if your product is small. It will fail to fulfill the visual space available in the module.
It is an obscure module with only space for text. We do not recommend using this module as it adds no value to your EBC.
This module features a sidebar, making it well-suited for accommodating a substantial amount of information within a single section. Additionally, it enables you to include a list of all your product specs while having an “About Us” on the right-hand side. Overall, this section contains a significant amount of text.
Usually, we do not use this module in our EBCs. It is text-heavy and does not add value to the EBC. Moreover, there are better modules available that convey information in a better way. We recommend you stay away from this module.
The table permits the addition of diverse technical specifications to your Amazon A+ content. However, it is not a particularly useful EBC module, and we typically refrain from utilizing it. It would be best to avoid it altogether unless including technical specifications is mandatory for your category.
The standard text module comprises a heading and text field. We occasionally leverage this module to incorporate crucial product information between other modules.
Use this between modules if you want to add some transitional information. Avoid using it if possible.
The layout of this module consists of an image positioned on the left-hand side, accompanied by a header and text. On the right-hand side, there is space to accommodate product specifications. This layout allows for a clear and organized presentation of technical information.
We do not recommend using this module as it includes excessive text.
The multiple-image module is perfect for products that have several variants. It can help you highlight all variants in one module. Currently, this module is in many prime EBCs due to its dynamic nature.
We highly recommend including this module in your prime EBCs. However, you should not include this module in a conventional EBC unless you want to showcase all your variants. It can be used to include brand information, such as the “brand story” or “about us” sections.
One option for creating a prominent first module is to attach a large image with a dark overlay and place text above it. This layout is particularly effective for showcasing brand identity because the logo is integrated into the first module.
This module can be a viable option if you are willing to be different from others. If your competitors use a different layout, add this module to your EBC. Enticing graphics designing is essential for making this module work. Images, the brand logo, and text create clutter. Therefore, high-quality editing is necessary to create a refined look.
It is similar to the 970 x 300 standard image with light text. Our recommendation is the same.
It is similar to the 300 x 400 module and can be used for the same purpose. We do not recommend adding it to your EBC.

These are the ideal layouts that portray the best visuals to the buyer. However, we create custom solutions for every client and often deviate from these designs to fulfill client requests. Moreover, the same layout is not always great. We are open to innovation if you are willing to work with us.
We utilize the 970 x 300 banner for the brand logo. The 600 x 180 module is too small, and we have found that this large module works much better than the smaller one. We recommend you use a 970 x 300 module to display your brand logo in high definition.
The 970 x 600 module provides ample space for displaying images. It is an excellent choice for combining both informative and lifestyle elements. With this layout, you can effectively communicate essential information while showcasing the practical or aspirational aspects of the product.
Four-feature and three-feature modules help in explaining the product features. We highly recommend the use of these modules.
The single right image module provides sufficient space for a paragraph. It should be used to discuss general product features and benefits. We always include this module in our EBCs.
This layout is perfect for presenting the product within a real-life context, as it enhances the overall visual appeal of the product.
For the final module, it is recommended to use a 970 x 300 lifestyle layout that features the product displayed within a real-life setting alongside a model. This type of presentation is highly effective in creating a sense of appeal.
We recommend using the same modules in a different arrangement in the five-module layout. See the module sequence below to create the perfect EBC.
First Module 970 x 300 for Brand Logo
Second Module 970 x 600 for Infographic + Lifestyle
Third Module 300 x 300 Four-Feature Image Module Or 300 x 300 Three-Feature Module
Fourth Module 970 x 600 Product Placement Module
Fifth Module 970 x 300 Lifestyle Module
