Lighting And Brand Identity

When you click on these ads, you’ll see a video about the brand next to a thumbnail of a product that has its main picture, title, reviews, price, and shipping information.
Best Practices for Product Videos
- The only thing this video should be about is your offering. Don’t try to fill up space with junk that has nothing to do with your business or product. Within the first few seconds, tell people what your product is, how it works, and any useful benefits it offers. That way, the viewer will stay interested, and they’re more likely to click through to your product description.
- Amazon says that to get your point across quickly, your video should be between 15 and 30 seconds long. Bring out the product’s best features to keep potential buyers interested. If it’s any longer, the person looking at it might get bored and move on to the next result in the search.
- Your video will automatically play on mute, so use on-screen text to communicate instead of sound. Add descriptive infographics to your product video like you do your photos. Add clear text or captions to describe product features, benefits, uses, sizes, and specs. Help clients buy by providing as much information as possible.
- Don’t use a fade-in effect or a long opening at the beginning of your videos; save those for your listing video. Remember that the product videos should be very short so that the customer doesn’t get bored.
A+ Content
Amazon uses automatic tools to get customers to buy more. These include product suggestions at checkout and “often bought together” widgets on product pages.Â
For Amazon FBA, these are great tools for cross-selling, but they’re not great for sellers because Amazon might suggest a competitor’s product along with yours.
It’s clear that Amazon isn’t the best place for sellers who want to promote other items in their store. No tool or feature exists that lets sellers suggest or highlight other items in their line on a specific product description. Sellers should instead be creative.
For example, you can add comparison charts and other modules that let you add different goods. For example, a treadmill and an elliptical might go well together or could be put together to make a set. These modules are great for showing other choices and products in the range.
Videos
For product videos, you could show off the family of goods at the end, just like with pictures. More than once, make sure the customer knows they are only getting one item and can’t be tricked into thinking they are buying a set or more than one item.

Some brands include leaflets or flyers in their boxes that tell the customer about other goods they sell. Just be sure to follow Amazon’s Terms of Service if you do this. For example, you can’t use coupons or send customers to your website to get them to buy more goods in the same line.
Amazon Sponsored Brands
Your ad can show three different products from the range with this choice. Instead of three goods that are all competing with each other, you could focus on a few that work well together.
 Ready for winter, for example, a front bike light, a back bike light, and a high visibility vest. Potentially, the customer will buy all three things.
Amazon Brand Store
If a seller has an Amazon Brand Store, they can show customers a wide range of goods and try to cross-sell and up-sell them. Graphics, text, and product images on different category pages can all be used to do this.
Amazon Product Targeting

When planning what to put in your product details to make them more keyword-friendly, ask yourself the following questions:
- What words or ideas do you think your audience is looking for?
- What terms are similar-product-selling businesses using?
- What words are similar or how do you spell them differently?
Amazon Product Bundles
Other sellers won’t be able to sell on your Amazon listing images if you make your own brand of bundled goods with custom packaging. These products are likely to be found by competitors, but they won’t be able to sell on your listing because their product isn’t a perfect match for yours.
Products in a bundle must work well together. This means that one product must make it easier to use another product in the bundle or allow the buyer to save time by buying them all at once. A bundle can include things from different brands.
- Different things in a bundle are sold together as a single offering and can be identified by their own unique ASIN/UPC. It’s not a bundle if the items in a pre-packaged kit or pack are all recognized by the same ASIN or UPC.
- A standard product identifier or maker part number must be given to each bundle. Each product in the bundle has its own unique identifier, which can’t be used as the bundle’s own identity. You might have to remove the listing right away if you use a UPC from any one product in the bundle to identify the whole package.Â
- The last bullet point is very important: if you’re selling a group of single items, you need to buy a separate UPC for each group. There is a unique UPC for each branded item in that bundle, but you can’t use those when making the ad.
Custom Packaging For Your Product Bundle
The best way to stand out from other sellers of your own private-label products or product bundles is to make your own custom-branded packaging.Â
You can’t have other sellers on the same listing, as we already said, because they won’t have your unique packaging.Â
A private label is not the same as having your own unique packaging made for a wholesale bundle. You can ask your supplier to make and put your own logo on the packaging for you when you buy a private label product. Few more steps are needed to bundle wholesale items.Â
You’ll have to pack each item into its own unit because you’ll be selling different brands or goods that aren’t usually sold together. A third-party printing business will also need to make custom packaging for you.Â
You can have the packing sent to you along with your wholesale stock, and you can then package everything the way you want. You can use a third-party FBA prep center to package everything in your bundle if you don’t have the room, skills, or time to do it yourself.Â
You can send your goods to an FBA prep center, and they’ll name, repackage, prepare, and ship them to an Amazon FBA warehouse. This lets you run your FBA business without doing anything.
Offer Promotions
What Types Of Promotions Can We Offer?
You can offer your viewers three main deals:
Percentage Off
One common way to get people to buy something is to help them save money. These codes could be one-time deals (for one person only), group deals (anyone can use a code like “SAVENOW18”), or no-code deals that happen automatically when the item is added to the cart.

If someone wants free shipping, they have to buy a certain number of things or spend a certain amount. What kinds of shipping are free is also up to you.
Buy One Get One (BOGO)
One common method for selling something is this. Find the BOGO by number or by total spending.Â
Plus, you can use “Buy Two Get One Free” or “Spend $75 on any pair of glasses, get another pair free!” deals instead of just “BOGO.” Your company can sell more goods if it uses these well-known advertising methods.
What Types Of Coupons Can We Offer?
Link Coupons
Link deals only work if the person clicking on the link gets a price. After clicking on the link, the price will be added to anything that is already in your shopping cart.
This kind of offer can usually be used on anything in your store. For example, “$10 Off Your Order” and “$5 Off When You Spend $30” are deals. They can buy anything they want as long as it meets the ticket rules.
Clip Coupons
You can use clip coupons on certain things. You can use these near the store like coupons. After cutting them out online, you put them in your shopping cart to get the price.
Amazon lets people choose from tens of thousands of digital deals. People must have items in their cart from your store that are qualified for the coupon in order to use it. Not having the things will not work with the ticket.
People who use “Subscribe and Save,” are Prime users, and everyone else who shops on Amazon can grab coupons. Someone who is an Amazon Prime member or just wants to shop should be able to use your code.
Amazon International Marketplaces
Except for a few of Amazon’s marketplaces, shoppers can find and buy a wide range of items at any of their online stores, from electronics to kitchenware to tools. After a customer buys something, Amazon FBA uses its delivery network to send the item to the customer.
Although Amazon does sell some of its own goods, like the Echo and Kindle, most of the things you can find on the site are sold by other companies.Â
When Amazon has first-party buyers, it buys goods in bulk from the seller and then sells them again. However third-party sellers can use two different ways to sell on Amazon.
- People who use distribution by Amazon (FBA) put their goods in Amazon’s distribution centers and then list them on Amazon’s website. After that, when the item is sold, Amazon picks it up, packs it, and ships it to the seller.Â
- People who use Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) put their items on Amazon, but when someone buys one, they store and ship it themselves.

When a customer’s CLTV is high, they will buy a lot of things over time, including a lot of expensive things. Low CLTV customers might only buy a few items from you all the time.Â
Why should you care about CLTV? Simply put, CLTV tells you how much you can spend to get a new user. Don’t spend as much money advertising to first-time shoppers if your average customer only buys one thing, like your pot.Â
Spending a lot of money to get a new customer might be worth it in the long run if that new customer buys more than one item or buys the same item over and over again.Â
Therefore, CLTV is a significant tool for assessing your advertising plan. Say that your ACOS is pretty high most of the time. It’s not good if your CLTV is also low. For those who have a high CLTV? To get those new users, it might be worth spending a lot of money upfront.Â
At least, that’s how CLTV has been used most of the time. There are many more things you can do with that number now.
How Do You Calculate Customer Life-Time Value?
Let’s proceed by adding up the numbers. As you can see, Amazon doesn’t make it easy to figure out CLTV. A lot of the time, only brands that use Seller Central can do it.Â
Users of Vendor Central haven’t had much luck in the past, but there is one big exception that we’ll talk about below.Â
Go to your Fulfilled Shipments report on Amazon FBA to figure out your CLTV. Pick a window of time to measure, and then save the report.Â
There is a list of hashed buyer email addresses in this report that you can download. They can be used to figure out CLTV.Â
- Find out how often people usually buy your goods (average purchase frequency = total number of unique orders / total number of unique customers).Â
- Figure out how much all of your goods purchased were worth on average during the chosen time period (average purchase value = total revenue/number of orders).Â
- Find the average customer value by multiplying the average size of a buy by the average value of the product.Â
The average customer value number is multiplied by the average number of years a buyer buys from you to get the customer lifetime value. You could try using your DTC channel to find the total stat. A customer’s career in e-commerce is usually between two and three years.
